Our bikes are made from top class birch plywood. With its multiple glue layers and the corresponding arrangement of the individual wood layers, plywood is an extremely stable composite material and considerably more durable than solid wood.

Our bikes are produced according to the applicable standards and requirements of the toy industry. Peacock bikes are tested to standard DIN EN 71 and carry the CE mark. The paints used on the bikes are also certified and suitable for toys.
Peacock bikes are suitable for children from an age of around 24 months. The geometry of our bikes provides children with the most upright seating position possible. Our bikes “grow” with the child. The saddle post has four adjustable heights. Unlike other manufacturers, we take account of the fact that it‘s not just the height of the bikes that needs to be adjustable. With every height adjustment, the distance between the handlebars and the saddle is also simultaneously adjusted in order to avoid too great a bending of the arms when riding and so as not to restrict freedom of movement as the child grows. Children outgrow Peacock bikes from approximately 6 years of age.
We use wood from sustainably-grown forests.
The wheels are made from recycled plastic.
